Travis Wright has spent close to three decades showing up early to the next version of the internet. He has been building online since 1996, and today he focuses on what he calls the Fourth Web: the era in which autonomous AI agents act, transact, and build on people’s behalf, settling payments at machine speed. His keynotes translate that shift into practical terms for the people who run banks, insurers, asset managers, and enterprise teams.

His perspective comes from operating, not observing. Travis is Chief Innovation Officer of MultiBank Group and Chief Web4 Officer at its mb.io exchange, working inside a regulated financial group licensed across 18 markets. He wrote the Web4 Banking Report for Diebold Nixdorf and has served as a Web3 builder and advisor for Animoca Brands, Wax, and Avalanche. He also describes himself as the founder of two AI startups that were later acquired.

Before blockchain and AI agents, Travis made his name as a marketing technologist. He served as global digital and social strategist for the Norton brand at Symantec, co-founded the digital agency CCP.Digital, and advised companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100 firms. Martech pioneer Scott Brinker called him his favorite speaker on the Marketing Technology Conference Series. Travis co-authored Digital Sense with Chris J. Snook, published by Wiley and named 2018 CES Book of the Year, and has written for Inc. and Cointelegraph and hosted VentureBeat’s VB Engage podcast. Earlier in life he served as a Russian linguist in the U.S. Army.

He has delivered more than 150 keynotes worldwide, including Radio City Music Hall in New York, Avalanche Summit LATAM in Buenos Aires, the MarTech Conference in Boston, and RWA Summit Dubai 2026. Since 2017 he has co-hosted The Bad Crypto Podcast with Joel Comm, now past 800 episodes and more than 1,000 thought leaders interviewed.

On stage, Travis is facts-first with a sardonic edge, built for audiences that have heard enough hype and want the actual map. Signature talks include Banking Enters the Fourth Web, Welcome to Web4, Level Everyone Up, and Proof of Human, each customized after a discovery call for the industry and region in the room. He delivers keynotes, firesides, executive briefings, half-day workshops, and virtual sessions, and is based in Dubai while speaking worldwide.

01

Banking Enters the Fourth Web

Stablecoins now have a federal rulebook, and AI agents are learning to initiate payments, negotiate terms, and reconcile accounts with no human clicking buy. Travis shows banking and fintech leaders what that convergence does to payments, compliance, and core systems built for customers with fingers. Drawing on his work inside a regulated financial group, he lays out five strategic paths forward and makes the case for banks to become the trust layer of agentic commerce before a non-bank claims that role.

Audience takeaways

  • A practitioner's map of stablecoin settlement after the GENIUS Act
  • What agent-initiated payments break in core banking, KYC, and fraud models, and what to rebuild first
  • Five paths forward for financial institutions, and the one still wide open

Welcome to Web4

Every era of the web handed people a new superpower: read, then write, then own. The fourth era adds build, as autonomous agents act and transact on our behalf around the clock. In this macro keynote, Travis frames AI agents as a new class of economic participant, the first builders that are not human, and walks leadership audiences through where value is likely to pool first and how to position an organization before the shift becomes obvious to everyone else.

Audience takeaways

  • A working model of the emerging agent economy, from Web1 through Web4
  • Where tokenized assets and autonomous agents are likely to create value first
  • How to position your organization before the shift is obvious

Level Everyone Up

Most teams have access to AI tools, and few use them well. Travis shares the AI workflows he runs every day, not vendor demos, and shows how an ordinary team can become a group of confident power users. Built for enterprise teams, offsites, and executive groups, the session focuses on practical habits and repeatable systems that raise everyone's output, with playbooks people can put to work the following Monday without waiting on new budget or a long procurement cycle.

Audience takeaways

  • Real AI workflows drawn from systems the speaker uses daily
  • How to move a whole team, not just early adopters, to power-user level
  • Playbooks that can be applied immediately with no new budget

Proof of Human

When AI floods every feed and attackers scale like software, trust becomes the scarcest asset on the internet. Drawing on his early career in enterprise security at Symantec and his current work in regulated digital assets, Travis explores deepfake-grade social engineering, synthetic content, and the security implications of autonomous agents. For brands, CISOs, and risk leaders, he offers a practical framework for earning and defending trust with customers, counterparties, and boards in a synthetic world.

Audience takeaways

  • Why trust is becoming the scarcest asset in an AI-saturated market
  • New attack vectors created when autonomous agents meet financial rails
  • A trust framework for the deepfake era covering customers, counterparties, and boards

What organizers say about Travis

I don't like to take favorites, but Travis Wright was my very favorite speaker on the Marketing Technology Conference Series.

Scott Brinker

Godfather of MarTech

Marketing Technology Conference Series

Travis is one of the most brilliant digital and marketing minds that I've ever worked with. He was single-handedly responsible for driving the growth of Norton community and was commended by the account team at Twitter for his innovative approach to paid campaigns.

Mia Dand

Founder, Women in AI Ethics

Travis is an innovator of extraordinary measure. He can take what appears to be a common idea and turn it into something very unique... Travis is a forward thinker who doesn't even know what a "box" is.

Gary Jones

Wealth Advisory Strategist, Farm Bureau

I had been waiting four-plus years to bring on somebody of Travis' caliber to help us with MultiBank Group's mb.io crypto exchange and $MBG.
